I have found these white swirl things all over my live rock. What is it and is it good or bad to have?

they will see a peak in population, then some will die off. But they will never completely go away.

They are harmless filter feeders that may actually serve as food for some fish depending on your stock. If your tank is kept in great condition you may see the continue to breed, even if your fish are eating them.

Thanks and yes, they are rapidly growing. I have a flameback angel that seems to eat them.
