yellowish water?

my water turned like a yellowish dirty color? i just cleaned it a week ago or so.. what causes this? over feeding? my Ammonia and everything is fine.

Quite a few things can make your water appear yellow.

do you have driftwood in your tank?
is it slightly green? have you introduced any new plants into the tank recently?
what lighting do you have? how old is your bulb?
does it appear yellow without the lights on?

Could certainly be your driftwood if you have any.

no driftwood... no new plants.. the bulb is really old.. like old as in like 10 years old .. its my moms old tank but it was in storage for most the years.. but it was clear water when i chaged water.. with the light off you can still tell its not clear water

post a pic of the tank... that should show anything that could be causing it... much easier than you naming everything in the tank
