I have 4 in my 25 gallon newly cycled tank right now and my temp is around 76/77 degrees and PH 7.6. They are doing fine so far. Had 6 but lost two. I'm pretty sure the two I lost weren't very healthy to begin with. They are very active and fun to watch. My Wife and 6 year old Daughter really like them. Probably get two more this weekend.

The link you gave me says they like temperature from like 65 to 75 Fahrenheit. Isn't that coldwater?

Yes, they are colder water fish and not really tropicals. They can do just fine in the warmer waters of a tropical tank but they will be prone to shorter lives as there metabolism will be running much hotter.

Ok. So they don't live too well with tropical fish?
