INTRODUCTION:
I’ve always loved fish. My tanks just kept on getting bigger and bigger. I went from a 10 gallon to a 25 gallon and now my 75 gallon tank. I love watching the fish and plants grow.I’ve kept aquariums for the past 5 years. I enjoy it a lot. I also keep two mudskippers in a 25 gallon tank
SETUP:
75 gallon tank
4 inches of seachem flourite substrate
Penn Plax Cascade 1000
Only drift wood for decor
2 Current Satellite LED’s
2.5 lb bottle CO2
200W eheim heater
I keep my light on for 7 hours and my co2 is on a time also
about 9 hours. I use tap water for my water source
MAINTENANCE:
25 gallon water change once a week
I clean my filter usually once a month some times longer
I also dose liquid fertilizer every day
INHABITANTS:
5 Giant Danios
5 Tiger Barbs
1 Red Tail Shark
1 Fire Eel
2 Siamensis
4 Nerite Snails
1 Rainbow fish
1 Dwarf Gouramis
2 Chinese Algae Eaters
FEEDING:
Every other day: dry flakes
2-3 times a week: blood worms (my Fire eel only likes blood worms )
Sometimes: beef hearts
I keep water temp at 80 Degrees Fahrenheit
PH at 6.8 – 7.1
Nitrite, Nitrate and Ammonia at 0ppm
CONCLUSION:
I am very honored to be chosen TOTM, there are some awesome tanks out there.
I keep learning more and more all the time and my ultimate goal is to have a true Aqua-scape tank setup.
