10 gal set up

is it possible to have a 10 gal cichlid set up and if so what types are recommended for that small of a tank?

Shell Dwellers are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head. But it would be a species only tank.

I've done a few types of shellies in a 10g. Some folks also breed apistos in 10s but I've never done that.

The tank currently has goldfish that are going into a pond soon they got way too big, so the tank has a 30 gal filter in it keeping the cramped goldfish tank very clean. I am fascinated by cichlids and would love to have a few in the small tank, thank you for advice I will begin researching.

Shellies are small but quite fascinating. I also found them easy to breed. I had multies, brevis, and stapps (separate tanks of course).
