Hello all,
I have recently made an great fish tank purchase of a 4x2x2 (Excited because its the biggest tank I own)
I have one female frontosa in a 2x2x2 but whilst reading up on frontosa, I realize that they do much better in groups of 5+
I feel like more than 5 would be way too large for my tank so I was wondering
a) How many would be ok so they feel comfortable
b) If I only have Eg. 3, would there be any tank mates that would perhaps make them happier (Originally was only going to have the singular Lionhead that I have in there)
c) Is there a particular ratio that will promote breeding/happiness?
I'm still waiting on the stand for this tank so it will be a while until I set it up. In the meanwhile, does anyone have some reliable sources of info about frontosas (I'm not new to cichlids but new to frontosas and love to make sure I have all the right info)
Thank you all!
