15 gallon tank with 180 gallon per hour filter

You think this is ok ? There is a single convict cichlid in the tank

At that rate your turning the tank water over 12 times an hour which sounds great. Convict should be fine in my opinion.

Way more than okay! As long as the output is not too strong than it sounds great! So much filtration is good, especially with messy cichlids.

I had a 900gph powerhead plus a 70g filter on my 40g the convict loved swimming in the current.
