Aquarium Advice Newbie
I just stumbled onto a 39 gal tank with stand, hood, and filter dirt cheap from a neighbor. I used to have a few small tanks 10 - 15 yrs ago, some with community fish, one with local gamefish (illegal, i know, was young and dumb at the time). I had a green terror in with the bass and bluegills and he got along fine, ever since I've wanted to do a cichlid tank.
I love several of the new world ones, but is this set up too small to do more than a couple of those fish? My second choice would be Lake Tangakiya fish cuz I think the shell dwellers are really neat. Any suggestions on number and type of tankmates?
