I bought a new tank and stand today, and I plan on keeping an online journal of it; feel free to offer opinions and throw out some advice 
2/12/2011: bought the tank and some accessories;
75 gallon tank, with;
-250 watt Marineland shatter-proof heater
-SolarMaxHE, 48" double-strip T5 with continous running 8 LED "moon lights"
Tomorrow's goals: paint the back of the tank!
