Advice for Best external filter

Hi would love some advice on external filters. I currently have a 165L aqua one 850 with its original built in filtration. I have 2 peacocks, 2 maingano, 2 demasoni, 2 cobalt blue, 2 electric yellow, 2 pulu point red zebras & a bristle nose catfish. The zebras & maingano's have been breeding and now have about 5 juveniles of each which seem to be surviving quite well. The filtration seemed to be ok while they were juveniles but now they're all adults I think it's not quite doing the job. Any advice would be really appreciated.

Aqua clears work very well or you could go with a canister filter
