This is the 55 gallon all male Malawi replica tank I built.

1 older ruby red

Ya I did that it looks awesome. On my phone I have to take the photo and crop it and auto enhance to get it to look half way decent.

I wanted one of those when I set mine up and couldn't find it in stock anywhere. It is a stunning looking fish. I may see if I can find one now lol

some of my more brilliant fish have not developed their color yet... so I am playing the waiting game...

Great looking tank.
I love all male tank, have one myself as well with mostly peacock and haps.
Would the Moori eventually grow too big for the tank? I was thinking of getting one.

this species of blue moorii will not out grow this tank i think... I go to a malawi specialist and have the owner hand pick my fish so...

I have tons of algae but my cichlids graze on it... I also find it helps with water conditions

Yeah I was wondering how did you get all those algae? They actually make the tank looks quite nice and natural.

they are very pretty fish and somehow I got a 100 dollar discount because the owner priced them in private for me

That's nice you would have paid waaayyy more for them at that size. At that price and the size and color of those you probably only paid for two of them maybe 3
