I was wandering everyone's opinion on stocking an all male or male and female african cichlid tank. I'm mainly looking for yalls crazy experiences and the pros and cons related to the subject. Thank you.

Well all male would probablly be better or all female cuz if you mix them they will spawn and while they are spawning they will be very aggressive

It really depends on what you want to do. When you say african cichlids I'm going to assume Mbuna. So if you want a show tank, with great colors and no spawning you would want to go with all males. But if you want spawning I would go with males and females.

I'm currently working on an all male mixed African tank but its really a pain in the u know what to get all males every time
