ok.so I did a 50% water change and cleaned my filter. none of my media touched tap water I many just got all the poop out of the sponge but today I check the water and my ammonia is. .25pm is this dangerous or well it go.down.back to 0ppm

It will go back down on its own. Try not to clean so well at one time. They should be ok at .25 for a little while. If it goes above then water change away. It would also be a good idea to use a good conditioner.
