an albino convict together with a male convict

i have a male regular convict and a albino female convict the problem is the female is a little bit smaller.there has been some fin biting which is normal i think. how would you descibe this behavior and how can i help them get along and eventually mate.

p.s. any other questions or answers feel free to add them

Well, I only keep a female con, as I don't intend to be overrun with convict fry. But from what I've read about them they are extremely easy to breed and pretty much all you need is a male and a female. What size tank are they in, and are you positive they are male and female?
