Angelfish Sexes???

So we keep finding new information on determining the sex of Angelfish. What have you all heard? Here's the two theories that we have read/heard:

1: Males will have longer pelvic fins than Females

or

2: Females have a more curved forehead. Can only be determined when older
 
The only sure way is to see the breeding tubes. males tend to get the round head, not females IME. As far as pelvic fins, I can't say that is true IME. Angel finnage is so variable from fish to fish, even from the same spawn, that I can't see how it would ever be of use to determine sexes. I find it funny when I keep hearing these things. You can go to my Angel tanks and pick out the sexes easily (adults).
 
I concur with BillD ... you can ONLY tell the difference between a male and female from when they start to breed. The only other way to ensure you have a male and female is to get a certified breeding pair. however this COULD potentially get costly.
