Beef Heart good/bad?

Just curious on y'all's opinions about feeding beef heart - I've been feeding it a few months now and have seen great results, but I've heard it can cause problems with fishes' digestive systems (I'm especially worried about my Silver Dollars). I do feed peas about once or twice a week, so do you think that would help counter act any of the digestive problems? I also feed blood worms and New life Spectrum pellets too.
