I fed my albino tiger oscar, cichlid pellets and frozen cube bloodworms once a week.

Feeder fish are definitely not healthy for them, they have no nutrients. High quality Cichlid Pellets with a variety of proteins like Beefheart and Krill works good.

I would really stick to cichlid pellets. They have all the nutrients needed for the fish to thrive. With the correct nutrients your fish will be healthier which will help with growth, color and personality.

I focus more on pellets than the heavier meaty diets. Bloodworms and/or brine shrimp cubes would be best for their meaty needs. IME, I only use them on the occasion.
