blue crawfish

So I woke up this morning to find my blue crawfish dead under my Driftwood and to nobodys suprise my cichlids were making a meal of him (tear) my question is should I let em dine or remove him? He's been in this tank wit the fish from the start so I dnt think they killed him.

Letting them eat on it a little would be fine maybe the whole thing but the clean up by you would be more difficult the longer it stays in. Plus if you really don't think they killed it I would remove it just because you dont know what killed itand you dont want something to transfer to the fish

Yea they had got to it already and I came to the conclusion that they got to him when he was molting. found a shell of him when I was cleaning and doing a WC.
