I am going to set up a 20g long German blue ram and guppy tank and going to try to breed the rams. Any tips?

Mature, properly cycled stable tank. Warm temperature and perfect water parameters and plenty of water changing to make sure it is perfect.

Knowledge of tiny live foods / stocks for the baby arrival and foods for babies. Probably a separate tank for the babies as they grow.

Coralbandit is a big Ram breeder and has information about them. You can do a search for threads for his name and GBR - also sells on aquabid sometimes.

Keep the tank warm. Start a culture of micro-worm. Be aware that dwarf chilid might take 4 or 5 trys to get it right. When eggs hatched the parents will move the wrigglers. Try for TDS below 100. BBS is only good nutrition for a couple of days after hatching (after about a week you can switch from micro-worm to bbs). Keep the water extremely clean if you move the frys to a sep container.
