Brine shrimp?

Can I feed my Africans brine shrimp? Only reason I'm asking is my wife had to get stocked for the puffers and dwarf puffer. She got blood worms and brine shrimp. Are the African cichlids allowed to have them? I thought I read no to bloodworms but ok sometimes to brine shrimp. Just wanna double check.

as far as i know they can have brine shrimp - i have fed mine them from time to time! x

I heard bloodworms for African cichlids (Lake Malawi)is a no no... Could be for all African cichlids though, but anyway i heard its bad for them. I fed my convicts them from time to time but not my Africans Could cause Malawi bloat or could give them a better chance of getting that dreaded disease.
