Hi everyone
I have been doing some research on CA cichlids because these are the fish i would like to get (never had fish before). There should be one breeding pair, one single cichlid, shooling fish (i like green barbs) and some sort of algea eater. Some plants, pool filter sand bottom, rocks and lot of wood.
I would like to get Your opinion just in case on my selected fish before i buy them.
Tank is 36x16x18 filter is JBL crystal profi e1500 , water change 25% weekly.
and the fish i d like to get are:
saijca cichlid (Tbar) - medium to large size breeding pair (first i thought of convicts but agression risk would high i quess.) availability of tbar is a problem though in my region.
Firemouth meeki - 1 male, medium size
Siamese algae eater - 1
green tiger barbs - 12 pc. (will but them in couple of weeks before the cichlids go for less stressful adaption for them)
What do You guys think, will this setup work without major problems? Thanks
