It kind of looks like electric blue or Venustus cichlid I'm not sure my guess is that it's a mixed breed

Tbh I thought the exact same thing! I wasnt sure though so i stayed conservative but now that someone else says it, it definitely looks like a hybrid or something to do with a venustus.

Yea it has the body shape of a Venustus with the pointed body but that blue doesn't come in Venustus and electric blue can come in that color but the mouth of the electric is more rounded and is striped not the spots so I guessed mixed

It's a Malawian hap of some sort, definitely NOT a venustus
Possibly something in protomelas

I realize it's not a Venustus but it has the same body shape
