Can I remove Convict Cichlid Fry while they are wigglers?

I have a pair of convict cichlids in a tank with an oscar and a bichir, im worried that the convict fry will be snacks for the 2 once they are free-swimming and they are in a clay pot and i can see them wiggling, is it fine to remove them before they are free swimming?

I would just let nature take it's course. Trust me when I say you will soon be overrun by convicts. Nobody wants to buy them and e even stores might be hesitant to take them in for free. It's a great fish to watch that's for sure!
