Bought this guy at the LFS and he was labeled blue zebra. After looking them up online Most of the pictures seem to be a much lighter color.
Is he a blue zebra and are there any special care requirements for this species? His tank is 60gallons and he is kept with 2 red zebras 1 cobalt blue 1 yellow lab 2 syndontis and 1 BN Pleco.

He's kind of camera shy so sorry about the bad pics.

looks like a midnight mloto to me and i am mad that you found one. i cant find one for the life of me. where did you get it? if you are disappointed ill gladly take if off your hands. AND NO ITS NOT A ZEBRA ITS A PEACOCK.

If it is a peacock will he be OK in the tank for the long run? He is the biggest fish and I think he may actually be tank boss.

I am understocked because I thought it would be healthier but since the fish are constantly hiding I will probably up the numbers to three per species.

you're actually gonna want to do four of each species, 1 m to 3 f :) more females is always better!

So what do I need to know about this fish, eventual size, diet, aggressiveness, etc. I think he'll do OK with his current tank mates since there never seems to be any aggression and I have lot's of hiding places.

Why? That seems like a lot of aggression waiting to happen.

All male tanks actually help lower aggression since there are no females to fight over, my boys all get along great!
