I'm not normally a fan of décor like that but I think it will look nice. Are you planning on gluing the whole piece together as one or sections and assembling it inside the tank....

A really well done sunken pirate ship would be fun to make. If I ever enter the realm of reef aquaria then I'll be tempted to try.
Is it too late to try black PVC? I have a few misdirecting pieces buried in the substrate with rock and dw on top and around them. Pretty sure Africans dream about a never ending PVC tunnel. Sounds like a nightmare to me though.

I'm gonna glue it in sections once I figure out how I want it it changes everyday. Before I do that I'm gonna get some pea gravel or small decorative rocks and cover the PVC with that. I just don't all rocks in my tank
