Cichlid fry

These two fry are from the same female and same batch of fry so they share the same parents. But why do they look so different? There are 3
( there was 14 but due to a unknown hole in the breeder net there was only 3 left)
And two look like the dark one but only one of them is that light one

So my question is why?

The parent fish may be the result of a hybridization so their offspring won't be "pure". That's one explanation. ;)
