Definitely not a lemon peel. I'm not the best with Mbuna, but it does look like a male Kenyi

Mbuna can crossbreed. But if it is a hybrid, it's a mix of Kenyi and something else.

You might want to get another female or two if you just have the one. Kenyi makes are relentless, and very aggressive to tank mates.

I will guarantee that's not a kenyi. My guess would be a hybrid, but I generally prefer not to use that as there are so many species of mbuna, andjust because I don't know it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist

I was thinking the same thing, the dorsal fin is off. But I think it could have Kenyi in it.
