Cichlid Identification

So I work at a petstore and this guy came in with the assorted Africans as extra fry. I took him home to identify him and I just cannot figure it out. Is he an Acei mutt? I don't know. If you guys can help I would be so grateful. He is about an inch and a half long so I'm assuming he's showing all the colouring he has at the moment.

Tough to say, it has eye color and some color on the dorsal fin, so it is a pearl colored cichlid rather than an albino, but that is about as far as I can go right now.

Well thank you for the clarification on colouring, at least! I get that cichlid identification can be tough. This is the last place I can think of to ask. My coworker believes it to be an Acei mutt and it could be for all I know, I just wanted to ask. Anyway thank you again, Wy Renegade!
