Cichlid stones

So I caved and purchased the stones on Amazon. 4 large boulders. Im glad I did. My peacocks love these. And I recommend them. I had the hide away petco stones I felt they didnt give enough coverage. Now im hoping my fish will finally spawn because of these

St make sure every so often you take them out and wash the insides. Gunk will build up in them fast if they use them a lot

Yeap.. i take mine out atleast omce a month and scrub them some to get the gunk off the outside and inside.. i usually do it a couple weeks opposite of cleaning my filters or filter pads

Nice! My ob hybrid and a yellow female hybrid has tried spawning several times but hasnt been successful. Maybe this will help.

Yeap... i had 5 holding females last week.. they sleep in them too.. i have 1 that no matter where i move 2 certain stones he finds them and takes them over even if i place them on opposite sides of the tank so this time i placed them closer together so he has less space to defend as his females are gettin old enough to spawn and he is tryin his hardest to attract... lol
