Cichlids and live plants

Something I want to do in the future, so if you can post a picture or a comment on what plant species along with what cichlid species you have had the most success with!

Such a broad question. Have you narrowed down any specific species? Tank size?

Yeah, I kind of wanted it to be broad. Just seeing how other aquarists are going about plants and what not. Haha

If you can narrow it down a bit I'd be happy to throw some ideas your way. You can read through my past threads, 20k posts or so but some great info in there from many other members. Lots of plants and fish

I agree! Mine dig and destroy like crazy. Mbuna and haps and peacocks. My other big diggers are my red devil, red tiger, blood parrot, black belt, convicts, and salvini

Sorry y’all I’ve been busy with work, but I’m thinking about a tank in the 75G range. I’ll admit, my knowledge with cichlids are limited and I’ve been trying to research. I won’t be pulling the trigger on anything until I’m way more certain on what I want to do.
