color of fry???

Does anyone know what color red empress fry are. Do they look like the females or are the different at about 1/4-1/2 " in length. I had a red empress that spit her fry but i didn't see them again and i have found 2 yellow fry and wondered if they could be hers or are they mabe the yellow lab. I am not sure cause the only yellow lab i have seen holding is still holding...

I quickly Googled for pics of fry and saw that the juveniles were pretty colorless, but have a lateral line. Google for pics and compare them to the fry you have.

You're not going to see any color on fry that small. Best bet would be to let 'em get a little bigger before trying to decide who belongs to who.')

is it just a yellow tinge they have or a more solid colour?

if its a more solid yellow the redempress is cheating on its partner

they are a solid color. they may be orangeish yellow.
