Community Cichlids?

Are there any existant cichlids that could live with small fish?

dwarf cichlids like rams work fine in community settings.

I think you could keep rams or other dwarf cichlids in with small fish. Just be careful because they will be territorial during mating. How big is your tank, and what will else would be stocked?

Not any big heavy hitters from down like south like Jaguar's but there arm numerous speices of Rams, apistogamma, and Kribensis that would work.

Any of the ones I mentioned will work with that stock. That Black Ghost Knife although a cool fish can reach sizes of 18-24" so he'll have to go at some point.

They'll be fine.

As far as rehoming fish it's much easier when they're smaller rather that till they get to big.

Agree with HUKIT. I know the Black Ghost Knife can get big, but it wasn't until I saw a full grown one in the LFS the other day, that I really understood what a monster that fish will grow into. It was in a tank with a full size PVC elbow for a tank decoration and it barely fit in the pipe!
