Could this be HLLE or HITH?

Hi, my new hap has these white markings in the forehead area. I thought it could be normal coloring at first, but now I'm wondering =( I can try for better pics soon, my tank is kind of dark

That's doesn't look Head or Lateral Line Errosion, closer clearer pictures would certainly help but most old world cichlids are not as susceptible like most neo-tropical new world fish such as Astronotus ocellatus or Pterophyllum altum.

That's not either illess from those pictures nor does it look like a Placidochromis electra (deep water hap).

Looks like he hit his head, and I'm still saying it's not a deep water.

he looked lighter at lfs, I didn't notice his head, but my fiance said it was there then.. he was in with some huge labs others I don't remember.. I've looked a bunch of haps online, hope he's not a hybrid, will just have to wait and see, Thanks

Thank you for trying to help me. I can't believe how few responses I get....and how NO ONE seems to have advise beyond "check your water" and "it's ich"!!! I give pics, and detailed info....but no one seems to know and/or help anything beyond the obvious issues that someone could google! Sorry. I just spent 20 min typing a detailed message, begging for help, but HUKIT isn't receiving messages. No one owes me a response, but I see all these complaints about negligent people, but when A person who really cares....and really wants help, asks.....I get told my thread are too long! Maybe time to find a new forum. I love my fish, and only need help because SO MANY breed unacceptable fish. Thx for all!

I have no clue if its a deep water hap not good with africans, but i agree it doesnt look like hlle or hith it looks like damage from hitting his head.
