Could you keep convicts with multis?

Yes it is. Africans are a whole different realm compared to new world type. Do you already have the multis?

No I've just got a convict,I'm setting up a new tank and quite liked the look of multis

Neolamprologus multifasciatus are a species only fish.

Most, if not all the shelldwellers, are either species only, or you need big tanks for others, like 40 long+ gallons
