I have one in the tank with many other different cichlids i believe it is a female. I notice its underside of the mouth is pertruding outwards. Is there a chance it could have cross bred with another cichlid?

Trophies are herbivores and will get bloat if you feed him too much protein so he will die soon and those tank mates are a horrible mixture

We have fed him the same thing for over a year now. I would think it would have shown sooner?
