I am expecting the worst here, but still figured better to ask and find out what the experts say. I am still only in the planning stage as I will be getting a 4 ft tank in a few months and am thinking of a cichlid tank setup.

First off I am in love with Demasoni so started planning around that, so with 12 Demasoni, I have read the best way to go is then 5-6 yellow labs. I am also looking at either 3-4 pictus or 1-2 feather fin catfish.

Is a turquoise severum (depending if my tank ends up being a 55g or 75g) a massive no-no?

The more I research, the more cichlids I find I want, how do you all decide?!?? Haha.

Sorry this is so vague, I will be more specific closer to purchase time and once my tank is cycled!

Thanks x

When I bought all mine, I just went off of what was available. I made a list and the tank wasn't ready and they sold out of the fish I wanted so I had to make changes and kept doing that till it was ready. Plus I wouldn't mix old and new worlds or lakes
