Dragonblood or Firefish?

I have 5 small dragonbloods, and 3 of them are a deeper orange and two are a paler pink. Would that be male and female difference or different color variations within the same species?

I expected them to be dark pink: males, and pale pink: females. But instead there is deeper orange and paler pink. Any idea which ones are the males?
