Please can somebody give me some advise I have a 260 ltr tank that is curently home to black neons, rummy nose and lemon tetra I am looking to move all these fish into another tank and put dwarf cichlids in there place the tank is planted with a large piece of bogwood as a center piece which is hollow and full of hiding spots I also have cave's made from slate I have 2 oversized eheim external filters on the tank I am looking for some Dwarf Cichlids that are very colourful can anyone suggest the best fish to get that will live in harmony with each other.:fish2:

I've a 240 Juwel Rio, 2 Eheim externals - so not a million miles away from your tank.
stocked with the following
2 wild caught Rams - Males
2 Bolivian Rams - Males
2 Red Breast Acara - Pair
2 Rainbow Cichlids - Pair - as centrepiece
Lemon & Rummy Nose Tetra, Sterbai Cory, Amano Shrimp

Absolutely no major aggression, slight chasing occasionally and that is usually my Rainbows when breeding. Never had any fin or body damage to any other fish apart from my female Rainbow who gets a little nip during breeding from the male.

You could also look into Apistogramma's, Cupid Cichlids - you can also put a bigger sized Cichlid as a centrepiece, some are peaceful enough to coexist, Keyhole, Rainbow, Sajica, and I've mixed a single Firemouth successfully with Dwarfs.

Rainbow
Bolivian
Red Breast Acara
My main tank - 240l filtered for 900ll, Hydor inline heater and Juwel 200w, heavily planted, rock caves and bogwood, Seneye monitor, levels all perfect - up and running 6 months, I change about 50-70% water each week - usually Wed and Saturday, not all in one go.
Apistogramma Super Red - my newest addition, not in my main tank
