Aquarium Advice Apprentice
I have about a 3" electruc blue acara that has stopped eating since I have introduced a blue acara into the tank a few weeks ago. I believe the electric is a male and the blue acara a female. It seemed the blue acara had eggs on a rock that she was eating last week. Not worried about keeping a brood but just want the electric blue acara to eat. I just noticed today that he has a concave belly and he just put a flake in his mouth and spit it out. I have been feeding him a mix of tetra tropical flakes, omega one cichlid pellets, omega one tubiflex worm cubes, zoo med brine shrimp, and some frozen shrimp. Any advice?
