What food brand i the best for cichlids? I have new life spectrum but i want to know if theres anything better

If you want to try something new try Xtreme cichlid pellets. I have heard only good things about Xtreme from trusted sources. I haven't used it yet because I'm still working through a 5lb bucket of NLS, but I'll be giving it a try as soon as that gets low.

NLS Cichlid Formula is some great food. I've spoken with several breeders who all agree that it's the best. It's also the food that probably 90% of experienced cichlid hobbyists on cichlid-forum.com recommend. I can tell you first hand that once my fish were switched to NLS, they grew much quicker and their colors were much brighter. I feed NLS exclusively
