Hi I just lost a fish to fin rot and now I'm freaked my FM may have it. Any ways to tell the difference between the disease and other fish nipping? I made more hiding places today, but didn't occur to me til now could be fin rot. I am treating peacock/hap tank w melafix. Should I treat this fish's tank for a few days too?

I guess I should say otherwise he seems very healthy.. puffin out his red throat dealy, swimming around =)

also my JD's tail is a little ragged, but cohld be from their little feisty tank mate .. a smaller jewel cichlid...? I've never really seen it chase the JD though, but have seen it chase the FM
