I have a flowerhorn about 3 1/2 to 4 inches and have no clue if its a male or female

Hard to tell. Since this is a hybrid, traditional sexing methods don't apply like nuchal hump development, coloration, and fin extensions. (Info discovered on this forum)

How aggressive are these realistically? I've seen some for sale like that and I have to say they are stunning.

Yes I work at a family owned pet store and it's not uncommon for one flowerhorn to actually kill off all the others ( of it's own kind ) in the tank. They are pretty aggressive
