I just bought a pair of GBR for my 20 gal that has already cycled and just before i got them i tested my PH and its at 7.4... Is that ok for GBRs???

Ok thanks btw ive been testing my ammonia every day for a couple of weeks and its steady so i think im fine.

Most people will tell you they do well in 5.5 - 7.0 but don't go over 7.0. I have a pair of GBRs, my pH is usually around 7.2 and they do fine with it.

Tank bred rams are way more adaptable than wild ones, they'll be fine. I have mine in a ph or 7.6 and he's thriving :)
