Any one ever feed there Africans ghost shrimp, I kno u guys stress that there herbivores but I'm sure they eat shrimp in the wild if they run into them lol

Give it a try ... At only a few cents each, get 5-6 and see what happens. Cichlids in general are not fish anyone looking to keep shrimp should have in the tank.

Every once and awhile its ok to throw some in there but that's a lot of protein for everyday.

About once a month I'll throw a half dozen ghost shrimp in with my cichlids. They seem to LOVE the live food and go crazy chasing them around trying to catch them. The ghost shrimp of course try to hide, etc.
The other day when I tore my tank down to change the substrate, I found a shrimp on the floor that had managed to jump out of the tank while being chased. Crushed it up and fed it to the fishies

Yea mine do the same a lil fun for them every now and then they didn't last 2 minutes lol
