Green pike cichlid

If you were to keep only one of these fish in a tank, what else would you put in the tank with it and what total size?

I am thinking about a heavily planted 29G with the only tank mate being a pitbull pleco.

They seem to be small aggressive and territorial...I see recommendations for 55G with multiple green pikes but I don't think I want more than one if they do fine on their own. Bio-load looks fine for a 29G but would it quickly eviscerate the pleco and does it need plenty of swimming room?

it will be fine in their as a juvy...you will most likely need bigger if you want it to live hapilly

If you are talking about C. Compressiceps any tetras that it can't eat. I kept mine with Von Rios and a Bristlenose Pleco.
