Hi there. We days ago I was trying to rearrange some loose plants and my Severum got spooked and tried to jump off and hurt himself on top of the fish tank ( note I was nowhere near him) and ever since he’s been swimming sideways; upside down; almost seems like he does not have a balance. I’m worried.
Will he survive?
Thanks in advance

In a situation like that it's a "wait & see". I can remember a prized African Cichlid Peacock that did a swan dive out of my tank, crashing onto the flagstone floor. He was swimming in a unstable manner for a few days until he recovered. I've had a few other incidents that didn't turn out so well.
If you have access to a breeder basket, putting the dazed fish in one might help stablize him until he can recover. Hope things get better.
