Quarantine tank, melafix....make sure you have antibiotics on hand just in case it injury spreads and causes fish rot. :S I'm sorry

Is this the same tank you have Acaras and Africans in ?

Africans will do that to each other.. someone is nipping at him/her. Is there a lot of hiding spaces ?

With Africans that will happen from time to time. What size is the tank and how many and what kind of fish are in there? It should grow back from there without any problems as long as it doesn't keep getting nipped on

Tails all healed up
