Help a newbie...

Hey there! I'm starting up my 55 gallon tank and I need some opinions on 2 choices of filters. Going to be a mbuna tank, non-planted with natural gravel. I already have an AquaClear 70 for it that came with it. Now I'm deciding on a second filter .....either a Fluval 304, or an Emperor 400. Which do you think would be better for my setup?

I'd go with the canister. Between the two filters, the Fluval 304. Africans are messy fish and appreciate the extra filtration.

I wholeheartedly agree. The fluval 304 will be far better for africans.

Thanks for the help guys. Just got a deal on an Emperor 350 as well, so I'll be running all 3 (Fluval 304, Emperor 350, and AquaClear 70). I think the fish will be happy.
