So i got this cichlid from petsmart in the random cichlid bin anyone know what he is.... i also got the auratus in the last pic at the same time

Pseudotroheus acei, also the auratus will at some point turn into a murderous beast.

Thanks gillie i was searching and i couldnt find any that looked like him... and that sucks but i can always get another tank for the auratus when he gets mean and trys to upset the pecking order

Acei are a large mbuna, they typically need to be housed in a 75 gallon or larger due to their size and activity level, and typically like to be in groups when possible (the typical 1m:3f ratio for mbuna applies nicely for these.) they're typically quite calm as far as mbuna go
