Help Identify this fish

My lfs said it was a drop off and were told it is Frontosa peacock hybrid
Is that a possibility or is it just a plain peacock

Definitely not a frontosa/peacock, looks like an everyday mbuna mutt. Remember any mouthbrooder can breed with another which makes buying mbuna tricky, lots of hybrids out there.

Yes, definitely looks like a hybrid.

Thanks must me a common one stopped by another fish store by me and they had an identical one about same size
